I made it and I'm alive!

Well I finally got here and I am ALIVE!! The trip was long but totally worth it. I arrived here Wednesday at 3pm. By the time we got to their house it was about 5pm and it was 31 degrees. Really muggy and overcast so it wasn't super sunny but it was hot!
Nothing exciting happened on the plane, I slept a lot and they fed me every few hours so that was good. I didn't really talk to anyone but I'm glad cause I didn't really want to, in case I started crying or something stupid.
Today, I got dropped off downtown [just a small, cute town with a bunch of shops] and I looked around for a bit, then I went to this park, and the parks here are called "Domains". So the park includes field hockey areas, tennis courts, etc., massive trees everywhere. I will take pictures tomorrow. They are sooo tall and really big trunks. There is about 10 acres? I think, of gardens. Ponds and ducks everywhere, lots and lots of green grass and paths. It is beautiful. I walked through it today and I loved it. I think I'll go again more this week. It's only about 5 minutes from where I am staying so I just walked home after.
I love the accents, it's great! I am learning things already about the differences between here and home. When I have more time, I will make a list cause there are lots.
I miss you all very much already and I will try to write here as much as I can but be patient with me!

For the next few days, emailing you back might be hard but you can write to me anyways, you might just have to wait a bit for a response.

I miss you all and I think about you all time. Keep praying for me, I know it's working cause I am safe and doing very well. xo
bye for now.

Cassie,
I'm glad you got there safe and sound. Sounds like it's an amazing city you're staying in! I want to see pictures!! I live vicariously through you and Jeanette so you have to fill that void of "down under" that I have. I agree with Tim, you've got to live in the moment while you're there, soak it all in!! Have an amazing time, and look forward to hearing about it. Soon you'll be hooked and not want to come back...I'll move out in a couple of years and we can live on the beach!
