friday night me and paul made this amazing chocolate cake that we had to imporvise alot so its turned out way better [cause there was loads of sugar in it] and then we all watched a knights tale while eating this amazing cake [with icing that literally had one whole pound of sugar in it!]so that was really fun.
and saturday me and all 4 guys went to water ski day with the youth group here in garaldine. we drove about a half hour away and went to a lake and they had 2 boats and they had water ski's and bicuits [that would be tubes for us canadians but for some reason they call them biscuits] and we just hung out on the beach, in the beaufiful sunshine, with a bunch of kids and watched them play in the mud and water. they did some waterskiing, which at first i didn't have a chance to do, but then later in the day i went tubing and i tried waterskiing! it was way harder than i thought it would be. i only got up fully once, and then about 5 seconds later, did a major face plant in the water, and got quite the mouthful. but i kept trying and i could get half way up and then i was sucked under. anyways, i did about 8 tries in a row and then by that time my arms hurt way too much to do it anymore so i stopped. but they told me i looked good out there and that i had good form, just not quite enough to get up all the way. but this weekend i think i am going again to a water ski camp, overnight thing and i hopefully can try it again.
sunday, we went to church and then came home, ate lunch, and headed out to a girl named tanya's house, where she was baptized in the river behind the house, with her little brother. that was really great because we have been getting to know tanya for the last couple of weeks and she is really great, she is graduating so we are close to the same age and she's really sweet and fun.
then we came home and ate supper, yummy homemade pizza by the interns, then we went for a walk down the road and played 20 questions to eachother [the girls went for a walk only]
when we got home from our walk, there was homemade berry and apple crumble with ice cream! we are wayy too spoiled here! hehe. and then we watched bourne supremacy. good movie. then we went to bed! it was a great weekend!
this week was absolutely fabulous. very encouraging for me with all the ministries going on. i had invited some girls to come to the bible in schools program and they almost didn't show up and i was pretty bummed about it, and then at the last second, they showed up and they had a great time. they want to come back again which is super great! and then at my other ministry, we had a great chat with a boy that is a new christian as of 3 months ago and he is so interested and keen on learning more about God which is super cool.

I tried waterskiing once but the boat had a small engine, and I was too heavy for it, so I couldn't get up. Maybe that was your problem. You are pretty heavy.
