Wow. It's been a while since I posted but I have been busy with schoolwork, camp prep stuff and well..getting in my naps wherever I can. We are preparing to run a weekend camp, the dates of March 30 - April 1 so that is really exciting and fun to do. This weekend, nothing special is happening. I think this might be the first weekend that we haven't done anything extravagant. But we are also fairly spontaneous people so I guess you won't actually find out that I didn't do anything until after the weekend is over. Cause we might just do something great! This wednesday we had family night so we went to a friends house, hung out with her family and they built a fire outside for us, and we baked bannock bread over the fire. If you don't know what that is, it's where you take a stick and you wrap bread dough around it, about the size of a large hotdog bun and then you cook it over the fire for about 20 minutes [or however long it takes to cook all the way through] and then take it off the stick, fill it with jam or something and eat it! It was so yummy. And it was easy and fun. I suggest that everyone tries this if you haven't already. Good times had by all. Then we played some wink murder, and 4 on a couch, which I suck at but is super fun. It's a memory game and if you know me at all, you'll know that is not my strong point.
We have a break coming up and so far this is the plan -that can be changed at any time so this is not permanent. The plan is to drive up to the top of the south island with the 4 girls and 2 guys and to backpack The Abel Tasman for 3 days, then I take the ferry up to Wellington on the North Island and hang out with Anna [ a girl that was an exchange student from New Zealand who came to my school in grade 12 and she is now back here] so i would hang out with her for a week [her and her family, probably see some stuff but nothing too special I think]. So this should be fun. The Abel Tasman is a 51 km tramp and we will be sleeping 2 nights and walking 3 days. So this is going to a be challenge but definately worth it!
That's it for now. We are having a sleepover with a girl that we met and she is leaving for missionary work in Thailand in about 2 weeks so we want to send her off by having a fun, girls night sleepover. Yay!
G'nite to you!

Hey Cassie,
it seems I'm the first one to read your latest piece or comment on it at least. Glad to hear you are still having fun, I wouldn't mind going to a warm beach now (seen enough snow to last me a while). Keep it up!
Erich
