I'm Finally Back.

Wow. It has been a long time since I last posted. I just got back home from break on Monday evening and since then, it's been quite busy here again. This semester we are going to have many more assignments and more outreaches so it's going to be a lot more work this semester. But that's okay, we also have a mission trip to Christchurch, a rugby game to go to, a weekend for the girls only, lots of fun stuff planned out! How exciting!
Over the break, me and 2 girls and 2 guys did the 3 day backpacking tramp at Abel Tasman and let me tell you! It was sooo amazing. The views were picture postcard perfect, the beaches have nice light sand, and amazing green/blue water. The mountains were incredible. Here are just some shots from along the way! After Abel Tasman I headed up to the north island to visit Anna, who I met in grade 12 at my school. She did an exchange program so she spent 11 months in Canada. She is a kiwi [in one of these pics you will be able to see that I found a 'Kiwi' in the wild. Haha. For those of you who don't know, there are Kiwi birds here that are flightless because their wings are close to non existent and they have long beaks. i wanted to see one, not behind glass so Anna took the pleasure of doing a make-belief kiwi bird sighting for the delight of my imagination!] We spent time in her hometown with her parents, then headed up to Auckland to do a little looksie around. We went caving, which is the pic of us licking the rock. It looked just like dirty and big isicles! Fun times had by all. Just some funny pictures that I took along the way. again..enjoy!
